Roosters are calling for Daddy Cakes! Pancake Mix and a Black Tie.

Daddy Cakes® is proud to announce our sponsorship of this years Rooster's Fundraising event. Daddy Cakes supports many charities, but this particular charity is especially heart felt as the proceeds directly support seven children charities. (Who would imagine that Daddy Cakes are going to be given away at five black tie events already this holiday season! We had no idea that Daddy Cakes® would be such a hot gift of choice at so many corporate and charity parties! They must not have seen our red neck:-) )

For over thirty years, The Roosters, one of the oldest and most productive charity organizations in Orange County, has been finding creative and fun ways of raising monies for children. The California State Senate has honored the Roosters Foundation for “outstanding” community service several times. In 2006, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger presented the Roosters with a letter of commendation for their outstanding charitable services to the community.

Daddy Cakes® is proud sponsors of The Roosters Foundation of Orange County 14^th Annual “Monte Carlo” Gala, “IMAGINE – what we can do....”, this last weekend at the Hyatt Regency Irvine. This year’s entertainment featured the highly popular ROCKOLA which created a musical travel machine, transporting guests to the 60’s with the British Invasion with all-time classics from the Beatles, Rolling Stones and more. Over 400 business leaders, esteemed executives and their guests attended this black-tie affair. The evening included a special Cocktail Reception, Gourmet Dinner, luxury lifestyle auction, entertainment and recreational “Monte Carlo” Gaming. This year’s honorary chairs include all three local United States Congressional Representatives – Rep. John Campbell, Rep, Dana Rohrabacher and Rep. Loretta Sanchez.

The proceeds of this year’s event benefited seven children’s Orange County Children’s Charities. These charities represent a broad spectrum of needs for children in the community – Blue Tide Foundation, California Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation, Child Share, Devil Pups, Oralingua School for the Hearing Impaired, REACH Youth Foundation, Wish Upon A Cure and the Roosters Holiday Food Drive.
