Some of my favorite memories as a child were the holiday days that we just stayed around the house doing nothing but playing board games. I remember the days of playing Monopoly and RISK where the games would last all day and we were together as a family just enjoying each other and laughing together. I didn't have a Wii, X-box or Playstation growing up, but we could certainly spend just as many hours interacting together over a board game and some things may be forgotten, but the experience doesn't change. It was a whole day of family entertainment for under $20.00 and we had so many great laughs together. I hope my kids remember days like this together when they have their own families.
We have friends that were getting up early for "Black Friday" to be at the store openings at 4 a.m. - Not us! Here's how we spent our "Black Friday"....of course we must wear black.
